About the Exhibition

Urban Perspectives brings together over fifty photographs from Marcus Chen's ongoing exploration of metropolitan life across the globe. From the neon-lit streets of Hong Kong to the sun-drenched plazas of São Paulo, Chen captures the poetry and complexity of urban existence.

The exhibition is organized around themes rather than geography, revealing unexpected connections between cities and cultures. Sections explore solitude in crowds, the architecture of movement, nocturnal rhythms, and the persistence of nature in concrete landscapes.

Each photograph in this collection represents Chen's commitment to finding beauty in the everyday, elevating the mundane to the magnificent through his distinctive eye for composition and light.
