Threshold

Threshold is Karen S. Moreno's most ambitious work to date—a site-specific installation that transforms the gallery's entrance into a meditative passage. Visitors pass through layers of translucent material, soft light, and subtle sound, marking a transition from the outside world into the contemplative space of art.

The work draws on Moreno's lifelong interest in liminal spaces: doorways, dawns, moments of change. Threshold asks viewers to slow down, to notice the act of entering, to arrive fully present.

As founder and director of Meridian Gallery, Moreno rarely exhibits her own work. Threshold represents a rare opportunity to experience her artistic vision firsthand.
